Bluthochdruck, erhöhten Blutfetten, erhöhtem Harnsäurespiegel sowie Diabetes mellitus-Typ-2, und die Wahrscheinlichkeit für einen tödlichen Herzinfarkt oder Schlaganfall steigt.
Die Chance, einen unbeschwerten Lebensabend verleben zu können, sinkt. Ein übergewichtiger Mensch muss sich auf Gelenkschmerzen, Rückenschmerzen und viele Besuche beim Orthopäden und Internisten einstellen. Ein falsches Ernährungsverhalten führt erst nach längerer Zeit zu gesundheitlichen Einschränkungen. Um spätere Erkrankungen zu vermeiden, muss rechtzeitig – am besten bereits im frühen Kindesalter – darauf geachtet werden, dass eine gesunde Ernährungsweise selbstverständlich ist. Dabei kommt der Ernährungserziehung bereits im Kindergarten ebenso viel Bedeutung zu wie dem Ernährungsverhalten in der Familie.
Für eine Ernährungsumstellung ist es jedoch niemals zu spät – auch nicht im Erwachsenenalter!
