Grüner Tee – Bodybuilding und Gesundheit
Die Chinesen, eines der ältesten Völker der Erde, schwört seit Jahrtausenden
auf die Kraft des grünen Tees. Nach chinesischem Glauben soll der Tee
heilende Wirkung besitzen und viele Giftstoffe aus dem Körper spülen. In
letzter Zeit beschäftigen sich auch immer mehr Bodybuilder mit dem grünen
Getränk.
Nach einer Studie von Tomonori Nagao soll die hohe Konzentration des
Pflanzenmetabolit Catechine, zusätzlich zu der entschlackenden Wirkung, auch
noch die Speicherung von Fett in der Leber und im gesamten Körper hemmen. In
mehrwöchigen Tests mit 17 normal- und übergewichtigen Männern im jungen und
mittleren Alter (24-46 Jahren) zeigte sich, dass die Probanden ungefähr 2,4
Kilogramm Gewicht verloren, währen eine zweite Gruppe, die grünen Tee mit
viel weniger Catechine trank, nur 1,3 Kilogramm abnahm. Zusätzlich
verringerte sich der BMI der Catechine-Gruppe um 0,8 Punkte innerhalb von 12
Wochen. Der Gewichtsverlust ist nicht wie oft gedacht auf eine
entschlackende Wirkung zurück zu führen, sondern vielmehr auf den Abbau von
Fett (ungefähr 1,4 Kilogramm). Besonders biologisch angebauter Bio Grüntee soll viel von dem wichtigen Catechine enthalten.
Trotz diesen wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen, hat sich eine Methode bzw. Ernährungsdiät mit grünem Tee im harten Kern der Bodybuildingszene noch nicht durchgesetzt. Bodybuilder, die aber offen für neue Sachen und neue Trainingsgrundlagen sind, sollten sich über die Wirkung und Zubereitung des grünen Tees informieren und einen Selbstversuch starten.
